At The Parenting Journey, we are all about supporting you to tune in to your child, try new things out in a supportive environment and develop new skills to help you and your child. We are experienced facilitators of the Tuning in to Kids and Tuning in to Teens programs with professional backgrounds in Counselling, Speech Pathology, Life Coaching and Mentoring. We trained 12 years ago as facilitators to run these programs after witnessing the changes in our own families when using the 'Tuning in' philosophy.

Kate has been a Tuning in to Kids and Tuning in to Teens facilitator for over 11 years both in schools and community settings and for the last 2 years in an online format. She is passionate about these programs because she has seen the results in her own family and in the families of the many parents she has had the privilege to work with.
Kate's professional background is as a Speech Pathologist, and Counsellor of adolescents and adults. She works as a Program Counsellor for Raise Foundation which provides youth mentoring programs to young people in schools and works as a counsellor.
